If torturing your friends and strangers with your own devious Mario levels wasn't enough, you can now bring your own twisted Super Mario Maker creations to all your screens.

Nintendo launched a Japanese-only Super Mario Maker wallpaper creation tool, which uses the familiar creation platform from last year's Wii U release. While you won't be able to run through these levels as Mario, you can create stylized art with assets from four of the biggest Super Mario games.

Even if you don't speak Japanese, the tool is very easy to figure out. First, you select a wallpaper platform — monitor or mobile phone — then select the dimensions depending on your device. You'll then be greeted with the familiar level making screen from Super Mario Maker.

The drop-down on the upper left will let you switch between themes from four different titles — Super Mario Bros., Super Mario Bros. 3, Super Mario World and New Super Mario Bros. U. You can then swap between sets, including underground, underwater and boss castles.

The next step is filling the screen with blocks, pipes and all the most memorable Mario baddies from the top menu. Hitting the Super Mushroom button and then tapping any character will super-size them, too. When you're all done, click the robot on the bar at the bottom of the screen, the click the right option to save your creation. If you want to start from start from scratch hit the blue and pink rocket (which says Reset) and then click the right option.
