CPD: 14, 19-year-old shot Saturday night in Belmont Cragin neighborhood

CHICAGO — Chicago police say a 14-year-old boy and a 19-year-old woman were shot Saturday night in the Belmont Cragin neighborhood on the city’s Northwest Side.

Arrest warrant, more details issued for suspect in murder of CPD Officer Luis Huesca

According to police, the victims were standing with a group of people in the 6100 block of West Dickens Avenue around 7:30 p.m. when someone fired shots from a dark-colored sedan.

The 14-year-old was taken by the Chicago Fire Department to an area hospital with a graze to the right foot, police say, while the 19-year-old was taken by CFD to an area hospital with a gunshot wound to the left arm.

Both were listed in fair condition.

Police say nobody is in custody, and Area Five detectives are investigating the incident.
