Covey opens newest adult family home with ribbon-cutting event in Neenah

NEENAH, Wis. (WFRV) – Another place that helps individuals with disabilities live more independently has opened in Neenah.

Covey, a non-profit organization, held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for its newest adult family home on Tuesday.

These residences give individuals a newfound freedom to explore their community, develop daily living skills, and grow their social circle while still ensuring that they have the personal care they need.

Above all else, we want to foster growth in individuals with disabilities, and independence goes hand-in-hand with personal development,” stated officials with Covey.

Covey says they are excited to open our doors to the community and showcase the dedication and hard work that has contributed to establishing this inclusive and supportive environment.

The new adult family home on Woodhaven Lane was built by students at Fox Valley Technical College. More than a dozen students worked on the project.
