Couple’s H-E-B-themed pregnancy announcement has internet buzzing. ‘Love this idea!’

In perhaps the most Texas thing ever, a couple announced their pregnancy through a photo shoot inside an H-E-B grocery store.

Pop of Color Images shared photos on Facebook on Monday, March 11, of the couple and their H-E-B-themed announcement.

“Groceries for THREE please,” the San Antonio photographer said in the post.

KENS reported the expectant father, Jacob Alvarado, has worked at an H-E-B warehouse for 11 years. He and his partner, Zoey Medley, are expecting their first child.

The couple held an “H-E-BABY” onesie in some photos, which were taken in the baby aisle of the grocery store. Their shopping cart appeared full of necessary items, including diapers, additional onesies and dill pickles — for the cravings, of course.

Some photos also included a Prego spaghetti sauce jar, an item the photographer said was important for the pregnancy photo shoot.

“When Zoey found out she was pregnant, she came up with the idea to do a pregnancy announcement at H-E-B,” the photographer told KENS. “She wanted to include H-E-B products in the shoot as well as a Prego jar. We couldn’t forget the Prego jar!”

In the comments of the post, H-E-B congratulated the couple and complimented the Prego sauce photos.

The photographer’s post has received hundreds of shares and comments.

“These pics are adorable!!! Love this idea!!” one person commented.

“Absolutely the CUTEST PICS EVER” another commenter said.

Baby Alvarado is due in October, according to the photos.

A Texas staple, H-E-B has more than 420 stores throughout Texas and Mexico.
