Countywide Spring Cleanups coming to Sebastian County

FORT SMITH, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — Sebastian County’s Countywide Spring Cleanups start on Saturday, according to a news release.

March 30 is one of five dates for countywide cleanups. Sebastian County residents are encouraged to use cleanup site dumpsters to pick up litter, tackle illegal dumps or do whatever it takes to “put a shine” on the county, the release said.

Proof of residency is required by Arkansas Driver’s License to dispose of trash at the cleanup sites.

Here are the cleanup sites and dates:

  • March 30 – Midland-County Park/Bob Boyer Park Hwy 45

  • April 6 – Milltown/Washburn Fire Station

  • April 13 – White Bluff Fire Station at 2731 Gate Nine Road

  • April 20 – Greenwood-Yard Road

  • April 27 – Lavaca Rural-Rodeo Arena Parking Lot on Rodeo Arena Road

The times for each date will be from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.
