Could You Watch the Jon Stewart vs. Bill O'Reilly Debate?

If you had better things to do with your Saturday night than stay in and order a $5 online pay-per-view, be thankful that you didn't miss much by skipping the debate between Jon Stewart and Bill O'Reilly. While the idea to put the two on stage together seems like a great idea on paper, the recaps sound kind of boring. The Hollywood Reporter has a decent round up of the best moments. By all accounts they were disappointingly civil. They both agreed on Oprah, which is never a good sign. Boo. The other problem was that a huge number of people had trouble accessing the show. Roger Ebert was particularly disappointed. The website that hosted the debate couldn't handle the traffic and their servers crashed, prompting them to post an apology on Facebook. If you are interested in checking out the show, you should be able to get it on demand today.
