Corrie teases Kate's farewell in new behind-the-scenes photos
It's Saturday, which means that you lot get to have a bit of lie-in while we trawl through the weekly Coronation Street filming pictures and see what we can gleam about future storylines from them.
Sadly this week there is not much to go on, but we do see Faye Brookes (or her character Kate Connor) getting some flowers from Richard Hawley and Sally Ann Matthews (or their characters Johnny and Jenny) during her final week on the ITV soap.

While we don't quite know if this photo is capturing the moment that the soap is saying goodbye to Faye the actress or Kate the character, considering there aren't many other characters around, we think this is actually part of a scene, rather than Faye's real send-off.
Faye originally announced she was leaving the soap on her Twitter page, writing: "Thanks to everyone for your amazing support, but after four fabulous years in Weatherfield, it's time for me to explore new opportunities.
"I've loved playing Kate Connor, but she needs a break for a little while and so with a song in my heart I'm off to pastures new."

Faye's final scenes as Kate are due to air on screens in the autumn and, fortunately, we already know that there won't be a completely tragic ending as the soap has confirmed the character won't be killed off.
"We don't ever discuss future storylines but Kate Connor will not be killed off and the door will be open for her to return," a spokesperson told Digital Spy earlier this year.
Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.
