Corrie reveals ALL the times Phelan's secret was hinted
Coronation Street has released this brilliant new video showing all of the clues that Pat Phelan was hiding a huge secret.
Phelan was at the centre of a massive storyline twist on Friday, when it was revealed that he's been holding Andy Carver captive in a basement since January.
The big reveal was one of Corrie's best-kept secrets, but this new video shows that the writers have actually been dropping clues into episodes since May.
The first sneaky hint came on May 15, when Phelan made excuses to disappear from Eileen's side and claimed that "something had come up". We know now that he must have been paying a visit to Andy in that cellar.

As the video above shows, there were more strange disappearances and movements from Phelan in the episodes that followed too.
Other tell-tale signs included Phelan's unexplained black eye, the mystery shopping bags full of supplies in his van, and his strange visit to the confessional where he admitted to "something that I've done – something that I'm still doing".
Corrie led fans to believe that Andy had been killed off after Phelan brutally attacked him with a laptop in January, although some viewers always suspected something was amiss as we never saw his body.
In the video, Connor McIntyre – who plays Phelan – even acknowledges: "The secret's out. Some of you clocked it though, didn't you?"
