Oct. 17—The Kern County coroner's office identified a man who died Sunday after the bicycle he was riding was struck by a vehicle.
David Dee Wood Jr., 29, of Bakersfield, was pronounced dead at the scene of the collision at 5:41 a.m. on Allen Road, just north of Jomani Drive, in Bakersfield.
The California Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
