Dec. 10—The Kern County Coroner's Office on Saturday released the identity of a pedestrian who was struck by a vehicle and killed on Heath Road on Dec. 2.
Donnie Peoples, 67, of Bakersfield died at the scene of the 4:11 a.m. incident on Heath Road just south of Rosedale Highway.
