Coroner identifies 2 found dead following Inyokern house fire

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The coroner’s office identified two people who were found dead inside an Inyokern home that burned in March.

The coroner identified the two victims as Lyndel Virgil Davis, 53, and Agnes Dell Smith Davis, 94.

Firefighters were called to the burning home in the area of Johnston Street and North Calvert Boulevard on March 29 at around 3:15 a.m. Firefighters found the two bodies during a search of the home.

According to a coroner’s release, further postmortem examination is needed to determine the cause and manner of their deaths.
