Coroner ID’s man killed in northeast Bakersfield crash on Valentine’s Day

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — A man who died in a solo vehicle crash on Valentine’s Day has been identified by the coroner.

Ayden Joseph Estrada, 19, was killed after striking the center divider with his vehicle in the 9300 block of Paladino Drive, according to the coroner. He was pronounced dead at 11:36 p.m., after suffering major injuries.

Based on earlier reports, Bakersfield police say the crash happened at the intersection of Paladino and Neptune Drives with vehicle speed being a contributing factor. Video from the scene showed the vehicle on its roof and flipped over near a brick wall.
