Police have released a CCTV image of a man they want to speak to after a care worker was licked in the face.

The 23-year-old female victim was filling her car with petrol at the garage on High Street in Brimington, Derbyshire, when the suspect approached her at 5.15pm on 14 April.

Police said the suspect thanked the woman for her role in the coronavirus fight before hugging her and licking her face.

A spokesperson added: “She was wearing her work uniform and it is alleged that the man thanked her for being a care worker, hugged her and licked her face.

“We want to speak to the man in these pictures in case he has information which could help with our inquiry.”
