Corning’s Cameron Kennedy wins Athlete of The Week

ELMIRA, N.Y. (WETM) – Corning’s Cameron Kennedy has earned this week’s top honor.

Corning bowling’s Cameron Kennedy is this week’s 18 Sports Athlete of The Week winner sponsored by Simmons-Rockwell Nissan. Kennedy led the Hawks to their 1st ever NYSPHSAA boys bowling championship, in Division 1 last Sunday. The standout senior opened the day bowling a 300 at AMF Strike N Spare Lanes in Syracuse. Kennedy wrapped up the banner performance with a 5th game score of 295, totaling the tournament best mark of 1,381.

18 Sports honors a standout student-athlete each week throughout the school athletic calendar. It’s all presented by Simmons-Rockwell Nissan.
