Corn and soybean futures fall, livestock mixed
Corn and soybean futures fall, while wheat and oat futures are flat on the CBOT
CHICAGO (AP) -- Grains futures were either flat or fell Monday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for May delivery was flat at $7.2975 a bushel; May corn fell 2.25 cents to $7.24 a bushel; May oats were flat at $3.9625 a bushel; while May soybeans fell 6 cents to $14.345 a bushel.
Beef and pork prices were mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
April live cattle were flat at $1.2620 a pound; April feeder cattle added 0.62 cent to $1.3867 a pound; April lean hogs fell 0.30 cent to 77.75 cents a pound.
