Cops nab crook who allegedly stole $60k worth of computers from Steve Jobs’s house
The San Jose Mercury News reports the police have apprehended a man who allegedly burglarized late Apple (AAPL) co-founder Steve Jobs’s house and made off with $60,000 worth of computers and personal items. Santa Clara Country prosecutor Tom Flattery told Mercury News that a 35-year-old Alameda man named Kariem McFarlin allegedly broke into Jobs’s home on July 17th without being aware of the home’s significance. Flattery wouldn’t specify whether the stolen goods were owned by the late Apple CEO or if they belonged to a family member. McFarlin has a court hearing scheduled for August 20th and remains in custody with bail set at $500,000.
