Cooler, breezy Tuesday; Valentine’s Day forecast

Columbus, Ga (WRBL)- After yesterday’s storms, a big change this morning when you head out the door. Temperatures have dropped almost 20 degrees into the 40s this morning. The rest of the day will also be cooler, as highs struggle to get out of the 50s. The few remaining clouds this morning will clear by the late morning.

Valentine’s Day: Valentine’s Day will be off to a chilly start with lows dropping even further into the low to mid 30s. Despite the cold start, temperatures will warm back up into the mid 60s that evening.

Rest of the Week: Calm and pleasant temperatures remain in store for most of the workweek, until clouds move in Friday morning. This will be ahead of our next storm system this weekend. Showers will start to pick up Friday night and will last through Saturday evening.

Behind this weekends system, temperatures will drop into the lower 30s and some areas will even see below freezing by next week.
