Controlled burn scheduled in Northumberland County

RALPHO TOWNSHIP, NORTHUMBERLAND COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — PennDOT announced that there is a controlled burn scheduled next Saturday in Northumberland County.

According to PennDOT drivers who travel through Route 487 are advised that the Elysburg Fire Department will perform a controlled burn on Saturday, May 4, at 372 Route 487, located east of the former Boyer’s Market.

Reconstruction Project continues on I-80 in Columbia County

Officials say drivers should expect the westbound shoulder to be restricted due to fire equipment in the area, during the burn from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., weather permitting.

Drivers can check up-to-date conditions on major roadways by visiting 511PA online or calling 511.
