It looks like Vice President Kamala Harris got caught up in the moment and used some profanity during an interview on Monday. Of course, conservatives couldn’t wait to call the moment inauthentic and label Harris “phony.” However, their support for Trump remains steadfast despite all of the racist and deplorable things he has said—which shows just how deep the hypocrisy runs.

At the annual Asian Pacific American Institute for Congressional Studies Legislative Leadership summit, Harris got expressive when talking about Asian Americans, Pacific Islanders and Native Hawaiians breaking down barriers. She was asked by moderator and actor Jimmy O. Yang about how her heritage informs the way she serves this country.

Her father is from Jamaica and her mother is from India. In addition to being the first Indian-American vice president, she is also the first woman vice president and first Indian-American U.S. senator. Her response was on the longer side as Harris encouraged young folks to not let others judge them.

She even quoted her mother to further express her views. “We have to know that sometimes, people will open the door for you and leave it open, sometimes they won’t. And then you need to kick that f***ing door down,” Harris explained.

Realizing her words may have been a little strong, Harris laughed and then said “Excuse my language.” The audience enjoyed her passion and responded with cheers and applause. Yang also gave his stamp of approval and jokingly stated “We gotta make T-shirts!”

However, Fox News personality Brian Kilmeade predictably chimed in about how Harris has “gone over the top” and “is starting to act like one of the guys” by swearing. The Daily Caller said the moment “intense” and that she raised eyebrows, while Newsmax correspondent James Rosen called it “unprecedented.”

Meanwhile, Trump has called Mexicans rapists, said that he grabs women by their genitalia, commented that Black people can relate to him because he has a mugshot and labeled white supremacists “very fine people.” In the past, Kilmeade has called Trump “disciplined” for not dining with racists while Rosen has said the Biden administration has a “contempt” for real journalism.

The right attacking Harris for simply speaking her mind is just another infuriating tool in their playbook to degrade the VP.
