Conrad Black strikes deal with ZoomerMedia to host weekly television talk show

TORONTO - Conrad Black may soon be able to add another title to his resume: television talk show host.

It was announced Monday that the former media baron has reached a deal with ZoomerMedia for his own weekly television show.

According to a statement from the company, the show will be a weekly "take" on the world from a Zoomer point of view on a number of topics ranging from pension reform to gun control.

In each episode, Black will conduct a interview with "some of the world's greats" and end with an editorial segment titled "Talk Black."

The proposed show will also feature a roundtable discussion on various topics such as current affairs and health by co-host Denise Donlon, former CBC Radio executive, and include cooking and live performances.

It's unclear when or where the show will air.
