Jul. 8—On Friday, Congressman August Pfluger (TX-11) released a report detailing some of the successes he and his team have achieved since being sworn into Congress.

Pfluger's office has surpassed more than 1,100 cases solved and returned $1.2 million back to constituents. This is money that federal agencies like the IRS, Social Security Administration, and VA failed to deliver.

Pfluger stated in the press release: "One of the most important aspects of Representing the 11th District of Texas is advocating on behalf of anyone in the district who needs assistance with a federal agency. This month, my office surpassed 1,100 cases solved and $1.2 million returned to constituents. Half of my team members work full-time on constituent services like recovering lost social security checks, restoring rightful benefits and assistance for veterans, and cutting through bureaucratic red tape. It is an honor to work on your behalf advancing the policy priorities of our district and helping to secure relief."

Pfluger has introduced 24 original pieces of legislation to secure the border, promote Permian Basin oil and gas production, support service members and the military, provide for farmers and ranchers, and more.

Pfluger's legislation — which requires the Department of Homeland Security to report on terrorist threats to the U.S. posed by prisoners released by the Taliban after President Biden's disastrous Afghanistan withdrawal — was signed into law.

Pfluger has made himself accessible to constituents by holding 43 in-person public town halls across the district and 9 telephone town halls. His office has responded to over 50,000 constituent calls, emails, and letters and held 34 mobile office hours in counties across the district.

Additionally, Pfluger has sent over 65 Pfluger Fly-By email newsletters to subscribers to provide in-depth updates on his policy positions, legislative actions, and work in the district.
