LONGVIEW, Texas (KETK) – On Tuesday, the Republican Women of Gregg County Club hosted Congressman Nathaniel Moran for a town hall in Longview.

“So it’s really good to hear your elected official talk to we the people, and that’s what he does and so he really wants to hear from everyone so he knows who to vote on bills and stuff,” said Jennifer Kranzman, president of Republican Women of Gregg County Club.

It was the second stop of the day for Moran. On Tuesday morning he toured the Skeeter Performance Fishing Boats facility in Kilgore.

“This is such an important opportunity to be transparent and accountable and hear from the citizens of East Texas,” said Moran.

Guests at the gathering were able to ask questions and hear legislative updates from his work at our nation’s capital.

“He’s working for border safety, he’s working for the economy, he’s working foreign affairs, he’s on several committees that give him the inside of what’s happening in congress plus bring that voice of East Texas to congress,” said Kranzman.

Moran reminded those who elected him, that their priorities are also his.

“The Biden Administration has unilaterally, by executive order, undone a lot of the great policies that Trump has put in place. For instance, remain in Mexico, that could alleviate about 70% of what we’re seeing at the southern border of the United States,” said Moran.

He’s let the citizens of District One, all 17 counties, know that he’s working hard.

“I’m working nonstop for them whether or not I am in Washington DC or here in the district they can be sure that I am working every minute of the day,” said Rep. Moran.

It’s all to make sure East Texans’ voices are heard in Washington DC.
