Confused 'AGT' contestant’s hilarious reaction gets her in trouble with the judges

On Wednesday’s America’s Got Talent live results show, confusion set in after host Tyra Banks announced that comedian Samuel J. Comroe and singer Glennis Grace would be going through to the semifinals.

Somehow, Grace didn’t quite hear or understand or otherwise register what was said and thought she was being sent home. Luckily, Banks noticed Grace starting to walk offstage and intervened.

“Oh my gosh. Did you hear what I said?” Banks asked. “I said, ‘Both of you!’”

Grace, a 40-year-old single mother with a solid music career in the Netherlands, was embarrassed and excited. That happens to be the perfect combination for accidentally uttering a swear word on live network television — which she of course did.

Grace didn’t offer much explanation for the misunderstanding. She just said, “This is awesome” and “I’m so sorry” when questioned by Banks.

Naturally, the judges only took notice of one thing.

“Watch your language,” judge Howie Mandel joked, with judge Mel B adding, “Yes, young lady.”
