Comptroller concerned for services in 2025 budget plan

Baltimore City's top finance official shared concerns Wednesday about next year's budget proposal and the years ahead. Baltimore City Department of Finance leaders presented the fiscal year 2025 budget proposal at a special session of the city's Board of Estimates. At face value, the proposal includes more money for schools and cuts the city's property tax rate. Baltimore City Comptroller Bill Henry said the proposal leaves him wondering where all the money for other city services will come from.
