Competitive eaters flock to Missouri for fudge eating contest this weekend

ST. ROBERT, Mo. – Top-ranked competitive eaters will descend upon central Missouri this weekend for a fudge eating contest.

This Saturday, the Uranus Fudge Factory off Interstate 44 in St. Robert will host the 2024 Inaugural Eating Uranus Fudge Galactic Championship.

Major League Eating is promoting the event and promises a “fudge-fueled frenzy” as competitors try to stuff as much fudge down their gullets in eight minutes.

Previously announced contestants include Patrick Bertolleti, George Chiger, Crazy Legs Conti, Geoffrey Esper, John Gebhard, Michelle Lesco, Gideon Oji, Matthew Raible, René Rovtar, Miki Sudo, James Webb, Nick Wehry, Greg Wilson, and Jocelyn Young.

The winner will receive $2,500 for his or her efforts, with additional cash prizes for second through fifth place.
