Community Spotlight: Vermilion Advantage
VERMILION COUNTY, Ill. (WCIA) — Joining Matthew White for Friday’s Community Spotlight is Jodie Ingram from Vermilion Advantage. Ingram talks about their upcoming career expo in Danville with more than 65 businesses and vendors represented.
Ingram stressed the importance of an opportunity like this following the hard hit of the Quaker Oats factory closure in Danville earlier this month. Ingram said the community currently has more than 500 displaced workers.
The expo will be on April 24 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the David S Palmer arena and is free to the public.
