Community Spotlight: CU Market at the Fair

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WCIA) — There’s a new local market event coming to the Champaign County Fairgrounds.

Organizer and Shop by Knight Owner Malory Knight discussed the upcoming CU Market at the Fair for Thursday’s Community Spotlight.

Upcoming ‘Waste Not’ event to promote sustainability in Champaign Co.

More than 30 boutiques and local businesses will be selling their items on June 1 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Champaign County Fairgrounds in Urbana. There will also be food trucks and kids activities.

Proceeds will go towards the Fairgrounds. If you are a local business owner who would like to participate, there is still time — just send an email to shopbyknight@gmail.com.
