Community Progress Council dedicates WIC mobile clinic

YORK, Pa. (WHTM) — It’s not always easy for the hungry to get the food and resources they need.

But after a dedication ceremony Wednesday morning, those in need in York County will have the resources come to them.

The Community Progress Council dedicated their new WIC Mobile Clinic.

It will travel all over the county.

“If families have a tough time getting to us, we will get to them. We could go to a doctor’s office, a pediatrician’s office,” Robin Rohrbaugh, president and CEO of Community Progress Council, said. “We could go to an elementary school. We could go to a daycare center. We could be anywhere.”

The mobile clinic will start by traveling to grocery stores and food pantries this summer.
