Commission honors Alabama Assistant Principal of the Year

DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Commissioners in Dothan on Tuesday honored the Alabama Assistant Principal of the Year.

Charles Longshore, the current vice principal at Dothan Preparatory Academy, holds the title and it earned him a trip to Washington, D.C.

At the nation’s capital, he was recognized by the National Association of Secondary School Principals, where he talked with other educators and learned new perspectives on the national education landscape.
