CLEVELAND (WJW) — The results are in for Ohio’s 2024 presidential and Senate primary elections.

Ohio voters decided whose name will appear on the ballot in the general election come November in the presidential and U.S. Senate seat races.

Minutes after the polls closed, the Associated Press called the presidential races for President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump.

AP also called the race for the Republican nomination for U.S. Senate for Cleveland businessman Bernie Moreno about an hour into the tabulation.

There were also plenty of local races and school levies to watch across Northeast Ohio Tuesday night.

The general election is set for Tuesday, Nov. 5. The deadline to register to vote in that election is Oct. 7.
