There have been multiple concert announcements for Maier Festival Park this week — Alanis Morissette, Phoebe Bridgers, Alice In Chains, Maren Morris.

Now here’s something for people who like some laughs with their rock ‘n roll.

Tenacious D — the intentionally ridiculous acoustic rock duo of Jack Black and Kyle Gass — are coming to Milwaukee toward the end of the outdoor concert season.

They’re playing the 5,000-seat BMO Harris Pavilion Sept. 18.

Tickets go on sale Friday at the box office and through ticketmaster.com with prices to be announced.
