Comedian Louis C.K. announces comeback tour
U.S. comedian Louis C.K. has largely kept a low profile since 2017, when he admitted to sexual misconduct.
But on Wednesday (August 5), he announced a comeback with a 30-city stand-up tour.
The former star of TV comedy "Louie" announced dates on his website starting in mid-August in New York.
The shows will run through to December.
He will also perform in Europe in early 2022.
The Emmy-winning comedian has mostly been out of the public eye since November 2017, when he admitted allegations of sexual misconduct made by five women.
His TV shows, a comedy special and a movie were dropped as Hollywood distanced itself from him at the height of the #MeToo movement.
C.K. did a handful of small gigs in New York comedy clubs in late 2018, but he was met with protests and walk-outs by women.
Some other celebrities - like Dave Chapelle and Chris Rock - supported his right to a second chance.
