Comedian Gabriel ‘Fluffy’ Iglesias bringing stand-up tour to his hometown of San Diego this month

SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — Comedian Gabriel Iglesias is bringing his stand-up comedy tour to San Diego April 18, but that’s not all. He made a few announcements Tuesday while on FOX 5.

Born in Chula Vista, Iglesias is coming back to his hometown for his “Don’t Worry Be Fluffy” comedy tour on Thursday, April 18 at 8 p.m. Tickets went on sale back in November 2023 and are still available online for the show at the Pechanga Arena San Diego.

During an interview with FOX 5 San Diego Tuesday afternoon, Iglesias announced he has signed on with Netflix to do two more comedy specials, with the next one slated to film in Florida in July.

He also announced Tuesday that he will be coming to San Diego about a week ahead of his Pechanga Arena tour stop to do a pop-up event at a “secret location” where he says he will be giving away free Fluffy swag.

He is inviting the community to come hang out, and of course it wouldn’t be complete without visiting and supporting local taco shops and vendors.

Iglesias is one of America’s most successful stand-up comedians, having performed sold-out shows around the world, his website’s biography states. He is also one of the most watched comedians on YouTube.

Iglesias has several Netflix comedy specials. He has also acted in several animated and feature films and shows.

Iglesias is a Southern California native, born in Chula Vista and raised in Long Beach.
