Comedian Brian Regan set for The Long Center appearance

LAFAYETTE, Ind. — Entertainment Weekly called Brian Regan "your favorite comedian's favorite comedian."

Greater Lafayette can call him the next comedian to grace the stage at The Long Center for the Performing Arts.

Regan, who can be found in the 2021 Netflix special, Brian Regan: On The Rocks, is on a nearly 100-city tour of North America. His stop in Lafayette will be at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 5. Regan will also appear at The Paramount Theatre in Anderson, Ind., Oct. 7.

Regan was a frequent guest on "The Late Show with David Letterman," and has also appeared on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" and, according to the news release, was featured in two episodes of Jerry Seinfeld's Netflix series, "Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee."

Regan has eight hour-long comedy releases, including:

  • "Brian Regan: On The Rocks" (2021) – premiered on Netflix on February 23, 2021

  • "Brian Regan: Nunchucks and Flamethrowers" (2017) – available on Netflix

  • "Brian Regan: Live From Radio City Music Hall" (2015) – broadcast live on Comedy Central

The Long Center, at 111 N. Sixth St. in downtown Lafayette, is an historic venue, the website states, and does not have an elevator up to and from the balcony seats. The show's material is labeled "PG-13" for some language.

Tickets start at $45 plus fees.

The box office opens at 6:30 p.m., doors open at 7 p.m., and the show starts at 7:30 p.m.

The Long Center concessions serves beer, wine, and select pre-mixed cocktails plus snacks and candies.
