UPDATE: Missing man found alive

UPDATE 4/9/24 3:31 p.m.: Copeland has been found alive and is receiving medical treatment, according to the Columbus Police Department.

COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) – The Columbus Police Department is searching for a man who went missing on Monday morning and is asking for the public’s help to locate him.

CPD says 45-year-old Romano Montoy Copeland was last seen near Greenbrier Drive in Columbus at 11:30 a.m. wearing a green or grey sweater, blue jeans, and a military green-styled hat.

Police also said that Copeland may be traveling between Columbus and Alpharetta, Georgia in a gray Kia Soul and described him as a male, standing 6 feet 3 inches tall, weighing around 240 pounds with brown eyes.
