COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) — Senators Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock announced to federal funding to upgrade Georgia’s airports through a bipartisan infrastructure law.

Columbus Airport will receive $1,195,165 from the Airport Infrastructure Grant (AIG) because of the infrastructure law.

The grant allows the airport to upgrade runways, taxiways, airport safety, airport-transit connections, and roadways.
