Colorado Rockies secure second NL Wild Card spot, will face off against Arizona Diamondbacks in one-game playoff

The Colorado Rockies have clinched the National League's second Wild Card spot after a loss by the Milwaukee Brewers on Saturday. The Rockies will face the Arizona Diamondbacks in a one-game playoff for the right to play in the National League Division Series.

The Diamondbacks will host the Wild Card Game at Chase Field in Phoenix, Arizona, after securing the league's top Wild Card position. First pitch is scheduled for 8:00 p.m. Eastern Time on Wednesday, October 4.

The winner of the one-game playoff will go on to face the Los Angeles Dodgers in the NLDS beginning Friday, October 6, while the Chicago Cubs take on the Washington Nationals.
