Cold Case solved after authorities make an arrest 35 years later

In 1989, 78-year-old Rose Hnath was murdered at her home located in North Whitehall Township, Pennsylvania. After 35 years, investigators utilized the advancement of technology in "Touch DNA." According to the National Institute of Justice, DNA can be left on multiple surfaces or objects. While tetsting the evidence gathered from the scene of the crime, investigators found a DNA match to a man named Michael Breisch, whose authorities report was arrested in Ohio and taken into custody. Breisch is reportedly being charged with burglary and homicide. Since his arrest, Breisch has been extradited and is now being held in the Lehigh County jail with no bail.
