Colbert, Scarborough, and ‘The View’ All Mock Trump’s Bizarre Cabinet Meeting

On Monday, President Trump held a very strange, public Cabinet meeting that involved staff members going around the table praising him. White House chief of staff Reince Priebus said to Trump, “We thank you for the opportunity and blessing to serve your agenda.” The others in the room followed suit, praising and thanking Trump as he looked on, smiling.

It didn’t take long for shows to parody and troll the whole strange affair. The ladies on The View showed a package mashing up the Cabinet meeting with movie scenes of characters proclaiming their love for one another. On Morning Joe, Joe Scarborough’s guests praised his hair and said they were so thankful and blessed to work with him. And Stephen Colbert, who has made it clear that he’s no fan of the president, couldn’t resist such a sweet opportunity to zing him once again. Even Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer and his staff got in on the fun.
