CNN Staffer Caught Joking About Donald Trump Plane Crash (Video)

A crew member working with CNN correspondent Suzanne Malveaux was caught on video joking about President-elect Donald Trump’s place crashing.

In a video obtained by FTVLive, Malveaux is preparing for a live shot at the Carrier plant in Indiana on Thursday when a staffer can be heard discussing hand signals as they waited on Trump’s plane to land in the area.

“That means his plane’s crashed … just kidding,” the voice is heard saying.

Malveaux appeared to realize the comment was inappropriate and made a shocked face before smiling.

“An unfortunate and inappropriate remark was made by one of our producers off camera yesterday. We have apologized to the Trump transition team, and the producer has been disciplined,” a CNN spokeswoman told TheWrap.

CNN has been criticized for its coverage of Trump, with many liberal viewers believing that the network gave him too much air time while Trump supporters think the coverage was too negative.
