The older generation can sometimes be a little slow on the uptake when it comes to modern technology – and this dad is no exception.

The clueless 65-year-old as a bit of a technophobe after his daughter shared pictures of his putting his entire tablet into a scanner in an attempt to print out the document on its screen.

Luvvie Tai, from West Taiwan’s Taichung City, revealed that her dad received a text document and he wanted to print it out so he could give it to his typist.

Unaware that he would first need to remove the digital file from the tablet to a USB or other source, he treated the tablet screen as any old piece of A4 paper and slapped it under the scanner for printing.

Clearly wanting the hilarious scene to play out, Tai watched on in disbelief as the printout of the blurry frame of his tablet device reached her dad’s hands instead of a document.
