Clovis Walmart to reopen on Friday

CLOVIS, N.M. (KRQE) – The Clovis Walmart will reopen on Friday months after a fire damaged the building. The Clovis Police Department believes Jimmy Guillen started the fire after a video showed him with multiple propane canisters near the gardening area. Guillen is facing charges of arson, aggravated burglary, and being a felon with a destructive device.

His state charges have been dismissed so his federal case can move forward. Those charges could be refiled later.
