Showers continue into Wednesday as dreary pattern continues

TONIGHT: Scattered Showers, Mild. Lo 60. Winds SE 5-10 mph.

WEDNESDAY: Scattered Showers Early, Tapering Later. Hi 65. Lo 58.

THURSDAY: Clearing Up, Mild. Hi 72. Lo 57.

Scattered showers took over Tuesday and brought us back to reality after an enjoyable Monday outside. Lows drop to around 60 overnight as clouds move in and retain some daytime heat. An area of low pressure will sweep across the region and then stall out near the coast bringing more clouds and showers for Wednesday. Thankfully, models have shown some clearing heading into Wednesday evening.

Thursday should be overall drier, however clouds will likely be slow to clear as easterly winds still hold while the coastal low pressure pulls away. Friday may also start dry, however another area of low pressure will track eastward to the Midstate by Friday afternoon and evening with some potential for showers. Those rain chances continue Friday night through Saturday. Rain totals do not appear impressive, but its enough rain to lock in damp conditions. Some model guidance keeps shower activity around through early Sunday. It may too soon though to make that call based on the back and forth trends in the model guidance. This active pattern may not slow down until closer to Memorial Day, so we will be providing more updates as track the changes/trends!
