Elmira, N.Y. (WETM) – Clouds move in overnight with showers moving in for the weekend. Storms will also be possible as we get into Sunday. Showers will be on and off throughout the work week. More details below:
TONIGHT:
Clouds will be on the increase for the overnight as we remain nice and dry. It will be warmer out with lows in the upper thirties to near forty and a breeze from the southeast at 5 to 10 mph.
SATURDAY:
We start off the weekend with mainly cloudy skies. Chances for showers move in once we get into the afternoon. It will be cooler with highs in the mid to upper fifties and a breeze from the south at 15 to 20 mph.
SUNDAY:
Showers and even some storms will be possible to round out the weekend on Sunday. We will be a lot warmer behind a warm front with highs in the upper seventies.

We dry out to start off the new work week. Skies will be mostly cloudy with highs in the lower to mid eighties. A cold front moves in on Tuesday bringing in more showers across the region. It will be cooler out with highs in the upper seventies. We dry out again for midweek on Wednesday. Skies will be mostly cloudy with highs in the mid to upper seventies. Another front moves in on Thursday bringing in some more showers. It will be cooler out with highs in the lower seventies. Chances for showers will persist into Friday to round out the work week. It will be cooler again with highs in the upper sixties to near seventy.
