Elmira, N.Y. (WETM) – Clouds continue to move in as a cold front passes through our region tomorrow. This cold front will give us cooler and as well as some showers. More details below:

TONIGHT:

We will be very warm for the overnight as temperatures will only fall to the lower forties. We will be mostly cloudy tonight with a chance for a stray drizzle and a breeze from the south at 5 to 10 mph.

SATURDAY:

We start off the weekend on Saturday with temepratures reaching the mid to upper fifties. Scattered showers will be with us in the afternoon and into the early evening as a cold front moves through. Otherwise skies will be mainly cloudy again with a breeze from the south at 5 to 10 mph.

NEXT WEEK:

We get a bit drier on Sunday to end the weekend. Skies will be mainly cloudy with highs only reaching the low to mid forties. We will remain mostly cloudy into Monday to start off the new work week. Highs will be in the lower forties. Then we see some chances for some snow as we get into Tuesday. Temperatures will continue to fall as highs will only be in the mid to upper thirties. A stray chance for a flurry will persist into Wednesday for midweek. Highs will only reach the mid thirties. We see more chances for snow showers moving in for the second half of the work week. Snow chances will be greater on Thursday but will persist into Friday as well. Highs will be in the mid thirties both days.
