More than two million garment steamers have been recalled nationwide due to reports that the appliance can emit hot water during use, posing a potential burn hazard to consumers, according to a release by the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC).

This is an expansion on a previous recall involving all Black + Decker Model HGS011 Easy Garment Steamers, which were initially recalled in November 2022.
