Clorox elects 2 board members

Clorox elects former Supervalu and Pepsi execs to its board

The Clorox Co. said Friday that Jeffrey Noddle and Rogelio Rebolledo were elected to its board of directors.

Noddle, 66, served as executive chairman of the grocery chain SuperValu Inc. until his retirement in 2010. He currently serves as a director at Donaldson Company Inc. and at Ameriprise Financial Inc.

Rebolledo, 68, retired in 2007 from his position as chairman of Pepsi Bottling Group Mexico after a 30-year career with PepsiCo Inc. He currently serves as a director of Kellogg Co.

The company said the appointments will bring the size of its board to 11, as it fills one vacant seat left by a retiring director and adds another spot.

Shares of Clorox, which sells products like Pine-Sol cleaner and Fresh Step cat litter, rose 37 cents to close $77.54, in line with broader market trends.
