Cleanup after the storms in Pottsville

POTTSVILLE, SCHUYLKILL COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — After Wednesday night’s thunderstorms, crews are working to clean up downed trees in Pottsville, Schuylkill County.

Crews can be seen using chainsaws to cut up toppled trees along Timber Street that fell Wednesday night.

The strong storms uprooted large trees, which took down power lines.

Pottsville was one of the hardest-hit communities.
