Clarksville police searching for tobacco store robbery suspect

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — The Clarksville Police Department is searching for the identity of a man they say robbed a Discount Tobacco Outlet on South Riverside Drive.

According to CPD, a man entered the business just before 9 p.m. on Thursday, May 16, confronted the store clerk and threatened her, indicating he had a gun tucked into his waistband. The clerk gave the suspect $100, and he fled on foot.

The suspect is described as a white male, about 5-feet, 9-inches tall and weighing about 180 pounds.
