Public Sector Search and Consulting and city staff will meet with community leaders to develop a talent profile for the position.

The profile will give applicants an understanding of the job duties and the community’s priorities for the department.

“It is extremely important that we engage the community to learn what residents and visitors want in a Police Department leader,” City Manager Lori Curtis Luther said.

“Police officers earn public support by living our community’s values. I am eager to hear their thoughts and begin our search in earnest.”
